New personal logo
This is a new logo that i started working on today. I didnt like the logo that i made last semester so this was just trying to come up with something completely different. I got the initial idea from tres. He was telling about creating a logo that defines me and shows something that i like. well I like superman. That is because he is a leader and i strive to be. There is no limit to his ability just as mine. I strive to be the best and push myself to do so. I spent all day working on this. I really like this logo and i mostly like it for its abstract nature. I had to combine both illustrator and photoshop. It was a lot of steps to get the texture and the metallic shine but i really like it

more training
monday is a big day for me. it marks the start of the tryouts for the football team. i have put a lot of work into this and i really want to make the team. Pray for me because i need it
gift card with text and normal red color inside
i added the red on the inside of the design so that it matches the red in the logo

i put the eat drink rock on on the inside just as i did with my envelop. I'm trying to incorporate various elements that i feel will be effective in my design
my specialty piece
for my specialty piece i am doing a gift card and cd that has samples of music you would hear at their live concerts. I am going to do different gift cards and maybe even a credit card. we shall see...........
p.s. roy i know i need to fix the edges lol

Here are a few changes
i changed the slogan on the ad with the drums so that it could sort of become its own. and then for the first ad i played around with the placement of the type. For both of the ads i toned down the stripes outside of the white borders of the pictures and added the info on the bottom. im still thinking of a slogan for the drumming ad. I really like how they are starting to look.

Ad 2 version 2
i really am starting to like it. Im still playing around with the composition and stuff but i really like how its starting to shape out

ok so this is me tryin to make it seem rock and rollish lol I am still playing with the concept and hopefully to get it to the point where i feel that it works
The First Ad Idea
this is the start of my first ad. Im still playing around with the concept. I am going to take a new pic of the guitar player. that is just for placement. Im going to play around with the type placement as well and hopefully create a strong composition. The idea just popped in my head during class one day and i really believe that i can make it work
