Semi Final Template Design

This is the basic concept of the final. A few more things to fix and them itll be ready. i need to also sketch some more designs off the menu. i like how its coming a long. I put the tri-fold, business card together and its good to go. just have to do the rest lol

Stationery Concept Ideas

These are the first designs that I have come up with. Im working a few more designs as you read but i just had to get something down. The first one I did was more playful and I drew images based on their menu items. So when you read over their menu you will understand them. The others were more professional. Im studying a few more templates to get some ideas.

The client wants to use the roman numerals so I tried to fix up the concept that I have; however, my teacher and classmates like the 2 better and I agree. So for the client and class im going to do both but need to push them to see color options

Here are the concepts. I really like the direction that it is going. The manager loved the designs from the start and after making some changes wants to take it to the own once its done so that we can present it and it will possibly be the new logo for the franchise. Im really excited but still working hard to make it better

The Updates on the Great Gatsby Book Cover

ok ive gotten the type on the back situated as well as the silhouette. That took days lol but its fixed the best way that i could get it. i still am going to play around with it some more if i see that it needs it. I am going to start working on the image that is going through the silhouette so that it will be finished when i go to print and cut it out.

For the red and green it basically is similar to the concept behind the cover with the silhouette. I want to focus on Gatsby's love for daisy and the green light that he stared at which was her house across the docks. The city of new york symbolizes peoples desire to make their dreams come true and New York is the city where dreams are made of. The red in the city symbolizes passion and this is what people have in the city and when they see it. New York City inspires people. However the green in the empire state building represents Gatsby's desire. Its supposed to be a play off of the green light in the silhouette to give the back and front some unity. Red and Green are compliments of each other so i thought that contrast would help in the concept; however, i am still fond of the white and black. I need insight and help on which direction i should go with. im open for any suggestions. i stilll need to play with the type on the side but im trying to keep things clean and different from any Great Gatsby book.

These are the latest designs for the cover. Im playing around with the type. Its not even close to where i want it to be but its getting there. Im focusing on the idea of the American Dream. I will explain it more in further detail. The extended covers is just a sleeve for the actual book which is the center image. That picture is just for placement. Im working on my own drawing right now.

Tres- I know that it has rivers and i am going to fix them and i am going to change my blog lol
